How does PaintCode import and export EPS files?

All vector shapes are imported. Empty groups, redundant or unnecessary objects are removed. Most colors, shadows, gradients, blend modes, and text encodings are imported, but quality of imported text depends on the PDF creator.

Vector tiling patterns are not supported. Export is limited to PDF capabilities, which don’t include transparent gradients and Porter Duff blend modes (Clear, Copy, Source In/Out/Atop, Destination In/Out/Over/Atop). Shadows are exported, but their appearance may differ in various viewing apps.
